Educating for Success Excitement

     I went to an Educating For Success Workshop this weekend taught by Rhea Perry. I love hearing her speak. Home business.. home education.. bringing our dads home... teaching our children how to be leaders in society. Such exciting information!

     She hosts conferences, has links to courses, has information and encouragement available on her website.  I have attended a conference and learned so much.  Don't pass by the opportunity to learn a bit more about homeschooling and home business.. because you think you can't or don't have the time.  Rhea can help give you the information, tools, motivation and encouragement you need. 

     Selling online, creating ebooks, being a travel agent, a virtual assistant, an affiliate, starting a business are just some beginning ideas she will share.  She truly has a heart for Christ, for homeschool moms and their families and a head for business.  It means getting rid of your spirit of fear.  It means working with God.  It means taking a chance and spending money on education, time learning, growing a business perhaps with your growing family.  It means wanting something different and reaching for it. 

     Most homeschoolers wanted something different for their children.. something more when starting to homeschool.  But somewhere along the way get caught up in test scores, college entrance exams, job applications etc.. and forgot about giving our adult children something different or something more.  I don't want children who work 40 hours a week.. watch tv for 40 hours a week and barely get by.  I want children who are financially stable, enjoy their lives and are growing God's kingdom.

How to use paperbackswap

Here is the best way I have found to use paperbackswap.  I go through catalogs or websites that have books or suggestions I like and then put those books on my wishlist - I think they allow up to 200 items on your wishlist.  If the book is entered into the system they will offer it to you first.  If there is a book that you are sure you want you can put it on auto request and when it is entered they system will accept it for you.

If you don't want to package and mail books you can just buy book credits.  I don't mind shipping books out especailly when I know when I want a book it will come to me for Free.  I do try to keep 10 credits or so available.  So if a book from my wish list is posted I have credits available.

Another good way to use the system is to buddy friends on Paperbackswap - you can see each other's lists and even share credits!  I have been able to get copies of books I like to give away - Me? Obey Him - or get bbooks for our homeschool.  I do sometimes splurge and get books for Me with no Guilt. 

The system is easy to use and a great way to save money.  Don't forget to Buddy me if you join!
